From the Editor's Desk
Dear Readers, Warm Greetings from dazzling Dubai! With great pleasure, I present to you Vol. 2 No. 3 of World Voices Nexus: The WCCES Chronicle! In this issue, we included articles from/ featuring Bangladesh, China, Ghana, Finland, India, Kenya, Kuwait, Myanmar, Singapore, Tanzania and the UK. We have comparative perspectives in these articles at primary, secondary, and higher education levels. At World Voices Nexus (WVN), we promote and celebrate diversity of all sorts - in terms of writing styles, formatting, international referencing conventions, and most importantly, languages. Apart from accepting articles in six official languages of the United Nations viz. Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, and Spanish, we encourage our readers to use Google Chrome browser, which allows automatic webpage translation in hundreds of global languages. I often use this free service of Google to read the WVN articles in my mother tongue - Hindi. A one-time setting in Chrome is required by choosing Settings (top right corner of Chrome screen with three dots making a vertical line) > Advanced > Languages. In Languages, you can choose your mother tongue/ preferred language and then slide the button in "on" position for "Offer to translate pages that aren't in a language you read". After this one-time setting, whenever you will come across any webpage that is not in a language you read, Chrome will automatically mount a bar on top asking you to click a button to translate the whole page. Admittedly, this language translation tool is yet not perfect and therefore, your academic discretion is required to decipher the meaning conveyed by the author(s). WVN takes no responsibility whatsoever in any translation errors made by Google Chrome. On behalf of Co-Editors Professor Amasa Philip Ndofirepi and Professor Gauri P. Hardikar and the entire editorial team and advisory board, I take this opportunity to thank you for your interest in World Voices Nexus: The WCCES Chronicle. We welcome feedback/ comments (using the comments button below every article) in this issue and submissions from you for the next issue of WVN scheduled to be published in February 2019. We find ourselves short of words to thank WCCES President Professor N'Dri T. Assié-Lumumba enough for her relentless support, guidance and motivation.
